  • “This is a hidden gem. The staff are friendly and the main lodge and public areas are just perfect for a ski vacation. There are hidden nooks, loads of games, tea and cookies, binoculars, and more. The dining is quite good and fairly priced. The bathroom in room 61 where we stayed was huge with a lovely claw foot tub. The room was warm, very clean, and with high end toiletries. We look forward to coming again.”

  • “I visited the Stowehof in September and it was a marvelous experience. The room/view was out of a postcard. The staff was always friendly and professional. We woke up everyday to amazing sunrises right out on the balcony. I would recommend staying at the Stowehof to anyone visiting Vermont.”

  • “My wife and I enjoyed 2 nights at this great location after a rushed week exhibiting at Fashion Week NY. It was a great place to unwind and re boot. We enjoyed the location, not too close to town, but it was easily accessible. Good breakfast at the on site restaurant included with the room if you book direct thru them was a nice treat. The place has some history behind it and was a fun vibe. Really enjoyed the hot tub to soak the travel day away.”

  • “I have stayed here many times over the years in summer and winter. However I am writing a review of my most recent visit when visiting friends who stayed here over the autumn foliage season. Stowehof is a wonderful inn reminiscent of a serene country lodge. The views here are stunning and the inn retains a charm that is beyond words. From the coziness of the public areas to the friendliness of the staff, this place is a scene right out of Currier and Ives with that classic Yankee hospitality and Vermont character...”

  • “This was by far our favorite hotel during our New England Road Trip! The staff was super nice and helpful! Cutest decor around the hotel and comfy beds! Recommend eating breakfast at the hotel! Absolutely loved the hotels main room with a view of Stowe’s countryside. I could have enjoyed that view for days! We will be staying here again next time we are in Stowe.”

  • “This place is a breath of fresh air. We took a family vacation with the kids and they had so much fun exploring the grounds and pond. This is a very kid friendly and laid back hotel. They have an outdoor and indoor pool and a hot tub, beach volleyball area and expansive grounds to run around and explore. They had a fire pit and we had s’mores each night by the fire. The view Mt. Mansfield is also pretty amazing. It is a very cozy bare bones hotel that encourages a lot of outdoor time. Family recommend!”
