Our Approach

Parking
We ask that you park in designated parking areas. Please do not park in the circle, as emergency and service vehicles require access. Please do not park on the grass.

Dogs
We are excited to share The Stowehof with your well-mannered pooch! Please use a leash while walking in public areas inside the hotel. We do provide poo baggies. Please ask the front desk should you need any. Quiet pups may be left in the room in a crate and receive housekeeping service. If the dog’s behavior in the room becomes a nuisance, The Stowehof reserves the right to remove the dog from the room, and charge a pet sitting fee of $25/hr.

Additional Charges
We are happy to accommodate a limited number of additional guests in the room for $15 per person per night beyond 2 adults. Please do let us know how many people will be staying the room for emergency purposes.

Pool Area | Sauna | Hot Tub
Please swim at your own risk. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No glass is allowed in the indoor or outdoor pool areas. Please wear proper swim attire and shower before use.

Food + Beverage
No outside food or beverage may be consumed in public areas, indoors or outdoors, on The Stowehof grounds. It is against Vermont State law to consume alcoholic beverages not served by The Stowehof in public areas. Guests must be age 21+ to consume alcoholic beverages in the United States.

Housekeeping Services
Here at The Stowehof, we provide you with a fresh, clean room; in addition, we take our commitment to the environment seriously, so we strive to freshen up without wasting our natural resources. Towards these goals, linen refresh services are scheduled according to how many nights you’re staying with us. If you wish to reuse your towel please hang it up. If it is on the floor, it will be refreshed.

Should the “Do Not Disturb” sign remain on the outside door handle, your room will not be serviced.

The Stowehof’s Deposit and Cancellation Policy

  • A deposit of one night’s stay plus tax is required at the time of the reservation.
  • Cancellations must me made by 4pm on the 7th day prior to arrival to avoid the forfeiture of the deposit.
  • If the room you are booking is labeled as non-refundable, non-cancellable or similar, all cancellations will incur a 100% charge, regardless of the date in which the cancellation is requested.
  • If the reservation is cancelled outside of 7 days the deposit will be refunded, less a $25 processing fee.

We want you to always get the lowest price when you reserve a room via our website or by phone, or we’ll match the lower price.

How Our Price Guarantee Works
Make a confirmed reservation through www.thestowehof.com or by calling 802.253.97222. If you find a qualifying lower price for the same accommodations within 24 hours after making your reservation, and if we verify your claim, we will honor the lower price.

Submitting Your Claim
You must email reservations@thestowehof.com or call 802.253.9722 within 24 hours after you make your confirmed reservation, and at least 24 hours before The Stowehof’s standard check-in time on your day of arrival. The name must match the name on the confirmed reservation for each room. Only one claim may be submitted for each confirmed reservation. You will receive an email confirmation or phone call within 24 hours after our receipt of your claim.

Lower Price
A qualifying lower price is a lower price you find on a non-The Stowehof booking channel within 24 hours after your booking, for the same accommodations that you booked through an official The Stowehof booking channel, and must be viewable by anyone prior to booking and bookable by anyone.
